Scholarships are a fickle bunch of financial aid awards. They can be awarded for a reason, or for no reason at all. In some cases, things such as being left handed and female can give you thousands of dollars towards your education. Scholarships for left handed females may be rare, but they are not impossible to find.

Finding the scholarships that match you is the most important thing that you can do. Being able to find every single scholarship that you match to and applying for them might seem like it is impossible, but it is if you work far enough before hand. Some allow you to apply as early as your freshman year of high school for a reward that you will get in college. Even if you do not win in your freshman year, you will still be able to gain valuable experience that you can use going forward.

Fill out your FASFA each and every year. While this does not directly tie into getting scholarships for left handed females, it does give you the ability to get more free money. States and the federal government love to give away our tax dollars to college students. Whether you qualify for a work study program, Pell grant, or student loan, these pieces of paper can tell you everything that you will need to know. Believe it or not, it is not that hard to apply for it either. You simply fill it out online, and it can even import information from the IRS for your tax returns!

Finding scholarships for left handed females can be a process that takes time, but it is not impossible. Simply keep working on it, and you will find what you need!

This is your chance to earn a quick 1,000 dollars or even more so begin your process.

Alice McArver Ratchford Scholarship - If you attend University of North Carolina at Greensboro the Alice McArer Ratchford Scholarship pertains to you. This type of scholarship can be obtainable to students who attend the University of North Carolina at Greensboro only. Not only that but all students are required to also submit their FAFSA, be undergraduates, be female, live on campus, have no car, not married, demonstrate financial need, and not be the winners of another scholarship. If you fit into all those categories you are eligible for this award.

American Society for Enology and Viticulture Scholarship - When you was a young child did you ever appreciated the vastness of a grape jolly rancher? Have you ever pretended to drink fake wine just for the fun of it? Maybe, so then you’re in luck this scholarship may be for you. The American Society for Enology and Viticulture is donation ting numerous scholarships for students who are majoring in studies which highlight the science of the wine and grape industry.  When it comes to award amounts they vary from year to year. Dannie Jasmine Mule Deer Foundation Scholarship – may seem a little odd to some.  Furthermore, it involves an issue that is very important to many. The MDF (Mule Deer Foundation) works industriously to defend mule and black-tailed deer. It also has teamed with the Jasmine family so they can provide an annual scholarship for the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR). The scholarship is based on memory of Dannie Jasmine. He was a Nevadan who was both a conservationist and a hunter. Dannie’s main intent was to pass his love of nature on to future generations. Dannie Jasmine Mule Deer Foundation Scholarship; the recipient will be awarded a $500 scholarship and also a one-year membership in the Mule Deer Foundation.

If you are currently a high school student you have an opportunity to receive The American Sprinkler Association scholarship. The requirement for this scholarship is to read an essay that revolves around fire sprinkler safety. You will next have to take an “open book” quiz and answer questions, about what you have read during the essay. Even, if you answer the questions incorrectly you have got a second chance to redo the quiz.

You’ve correctly heard right, drinking tea. Can you really receive a scholarship for drinking tea, yes you actually can. The Tea Association of the USA’s “Calm a Sutra Contest” actual offers scholarships to students who make an online video that endorsing tea. Whatever student comes up with the most creative video will receive the scholarship.

How easy is it to just be you? If you are a college student you have the chance to receive a scholarship from OP Loftbed. All you have to do is answer 4 questions in the most interesting, creative, and entertaining way. For this specific scholarship it specifically states they do not care about your GPA or writing skill involvement community or whatever pertains to those categories. American Welding Society Scholarships are offered to students that have an interest in welding. Scholarships are awarded to students so that they can pursue and hone their welding skills at an accredited college.

The Layton Frazier McKinley Scholarship rewards students in the Kelley School of Business who have at least a “B+” grade average, with a preference given to twins, especially identical twins.

The Gallery Collection’s Greeting Card Scholarship Contest is designed to give students who are currently enrolled in high school, college or a university the rare opportunity to win a $10,000 cash award by designing a greeting card.

Scholar Athlete Milk Mustache of the Year (SAMMY) Award – Milk does a body good, and helps pay for college! If students demonstrate excellence in academics, athletic performance, leadership and community service, and like to sport a milk mustache; this is the scholarship for them.

Vegetarian Resource Group Scholarship – Carnivores need not apply; however, students who have promoted vegetarianism in their schools and/or communities are encouraged to apply for this scholarship.

Van Valkenburg Memorial Scholarship- What’s in a name? Money for college! That is, if a student possesses the last name Van Valkenburg or a similar variation.

James R. Hoffa Memorial Scholarship Fund is named after the Teamster’s former president. They give away 31 scholarships of $10,000 each every year.
